The Role
As a Graduate Engineer you will be responsible for assisting in the development of innovate products from concept through to production.
The successful applicant will have an opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting projects. We will also provide intensive mentoring and training so you can develop your skills.
The role involves:
- Assisting in technology feasibility studies
- Designing electronic circuits
- Laying out PCBs using Altium
- Testing and Verifying prototypes
- Designing production test systems
- Managing product compliance
- Providing technical support
Essential Criteria
In order to be considered for the role, applicants are required to meet the following minimum criteria:
- Be an Australian permanent resident
- Hold a relevant degree from a reputable University (e.g. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering)
- Have less than 2 years work experience since their degree.
- Have at least hobbyist experience with electronics. (Bring some of your projects to show and tell)
- Have experience with Altium or Protel schematic capture and PCB layout
- Possess good verbal and written English communication skills
- Be able to work as part of a team
Other Criteria
Applicants who meet the following criteria will also be considered favourably:
- Have professional experience in designing electronics
- Have some experience with embedded programming of 8 to 32-bit microcontrollers using languages such as C / C++
